Position Profile
Reporting to the Health Director and working with limited supervision, the Youth Mental Health Outreach Worker will play a key role in supporting the mental health and well-being of youth in the community by providing outreach services in schools, homes, and other community spaces. This position will involve direct engagement with youth to assess their mental health needs, provide immediate support, and connect them to the appropriate clinical services such as mental health counselors, doctors, nurses, and community support programs.
Level Of Experience & Job Qualifications
· A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
· Additional training or certification in youth mental health, counselling, or crisis intervention is an asset.
· At least 2-3 years’ experience working with youth in a social service or mental health setting.
· Experience in providing outreach services, conducting assessments, and connecting clients to mental health services is preferred.
· Strong understanding of youth mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
