Overview
We are seeking a skilled Raymond Reach Operator and Order Picker Forklift operator to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating reach trucks and forklifts, along with a solid understanding of warehouse distribution processes. Responsibilities
- Operate Raymond Reach trucks and order picker forklifts safely and efficiently to retrieve and store inventory within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Utilize clamp trucks when necessary to handle specific types of loads or pallets.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper order picking procedures.
- Assist in organizing warehouse space for optimal storage and retrieval operations.
- Follow safety guidelines and best practices to prevent accidents or injuries during equipment operation and material handling.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating Raymond Reach trucks, order picker forklifts, and clamp trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and basic maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order processing and inventory control.
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, including order picking and heavy lifting techniques.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Prior experience with order picking procedures is highly desirable.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
