Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Previous experience in restaurant or food service settings is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing customer orders efficiently, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards.
- Use POS systems, including Micros POS, to accurately process orders and payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools and supplies are properly stocked.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and hospitality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to legal drinking age laws.
- Assist in setting up bar displays, restocking supplies, and closing procedures at the end of shifts.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
