FMP Group is one of the largest Tier One Indigenous Partnerships providing heavy industrial construction solutions to various industries such as power generation, oilsands, conventional oil and gas, petrochemical, mining and renewables energy. We are rapidly expanding and are seeking qualified and talented individuals to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Daily time entry, including timesheets review and cost coding, for payroll entry and LEM creation of 100+ manpower.
- Review all time entry data changes that affect Payroll processing to ensure accuracy.
- Subcontractor invoice processing for submission to payroll.
- Coordinate with project management on timesheets for contracts and subcontract billings.
- Tracking daily equipment usage for billing calculations
- Handling general requests such as cost exports and revisions to completed tickets.
- Providing daily man counts to ownership, management, and client.
- Support project controls and adherence to policies and procedures within the department.
- Support Project Managers and other divisional personnel with document preparation and filing.
- Administer and prepare internal and external cost reports.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in the industrial or oil & gas sector
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with project management or payroll/timekeeping software is an asset (e.g. JD Edwards)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based environment
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to remote sites as needed
- Safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, WHMIS, OSSA) are considered an asset
