We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pet sheet Extrusion Operator to join our Client in Fergus.
Job Duties:
- Operate and oversee the extrusion line to produce PET sheet material in accordance with established specifications and production plans.
- Prepare equipment for operation, including machine setup, start-up, shut-down, and in-process adjustments to maintain consistent quality and output.
- Monitor key operating parameters-such as temperature, pressure, and line speed-to ensure stable production and reduce scrap.
- Inspect finished sheets for proper thickness, clarity, and overall surface condition to confirm they meet internal quality standards and customer expectations.
- Document production metrics, equipment performance, and any irregularities or downtime in daily reports.
- Conduct routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and preventive checks on extrusion equipment to support safe and reliable operation.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and maintenance personnel to troubleshoot issues affecting product quality or machine performance.
Job requirements:
- Must have at least two years of experience on the pet sheet extrusion machine
Shift Timing: 7 am to 7 pm (3 days between Monday to Friday)
