Owner-Operator Opportunity – Straight Truck Reefer
Location: Winnipeg Terminal
ACB Transportation is looking for Owner-Operators with 24 ft to 26 ft straight reefer trucks to join our Winnipeg terminal. Dedicated work Monday to Friday. Consistent work.
This opportunity is for professional owner-operators who have their own refrigerated straight truck and are ready to handle local and regional temperature-controlled freight.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for owner-operators with:
- 24 ft to 26 ft straight truck reefer
- Working refrigerated unit
- Valid commercial driver’s licence
- Experience with freight delivery, LTL, reefer, or straight truck work
- Clean, safe, and roadworthy equipment
- Strong communication with dispatch and customers
- Ability to complete deliveries on time and follow temperature requirements
Work Details
- Reefer and temperature-controlled freight
- Winnipeg terminal-based work
- LTL and truckload opportunities
- Local and regional deliveries
- Tailgate deliveries may be required
- Waiting time may be paid where applicable
- After-hours deliveries may be available when required
Compensation Highlights
- Competitive flat-rate structure based on weight and zone
- Fuel surcharge applies where applicable
- Tailgate work paid when required
- Waiting time paid after free time allowance
- Additional pay may apply for after-hours delivery, reefer/heat service, yard shunts, and freight not available situations
Important Notes
Owner-operators must maintain proper insurance, registration, safety documents, and vehicle compliance. Truck must be equipped and maintained for reefer freight.
