Overview
We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality plastic components through precise operation and maintenance of injection molding machines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with manufacturing processes, and familiarity with quality inspection standards. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily injection molding operations across assigned shifts
- Lead, train, and motivate machine operators, technicians, and support staff
- Ensure molds, machines, and auxiliary equipment are set up and running efficiently
- Monitor process parameters and adjust as needed to maintain product quality and cycle times
- Troubleshoot molding defects, equipment issues, and production delays
- Ensure production schedules and output targets are met
- Enforce safety policies, housekeeping standards, and company procedures
- Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Production Planning teams
- Review production reports, scrap rates, downtime, and corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, 5S, scrap reduction)
- Ensure proper documentation of processes, work instructions, and shift handovers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in injection molding operations
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, materials, and tooling
- Experience with process troubleshooting, setup, and optimization
- Familiarity with quality standards, SPC, and production metrics
- Ability to read technical drawings and process documentation

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
