Graphic FX is a locally-owned, business specializing in custom sign production, vehicle graphics and other related products and services. Building positive, lasting relationships with our clients and staff is one of the things that has allowed us to grow and prosper for the past 25 years.
We are currently looking to add an experienced vinyl graphics installer to join our installation department, which is responsible for the application of things such as vehicle graphics and wraps, window and wall graphics, and other graphics applied to substrates, as well as the installation of non-illuminated and illuminated signs.
At Graphic FX having a positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic is paramount. To succeed in this position, you must be a self-starter who is flexible and able to perform a variety of duties including working outdoors when the need arises, since the work environment will include working both indoors at our facility as well as on-site at clients’ business locations. The ability to work at heights using a ladder or bucket lift and proficiency using a variety of hand and portable power tools and are also two very important aspects of this job, as is Interacting with ERP software throughout the workday. The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and coworkers to ensure work is completed correctly and client’s expectations are met is also something we value and require in this position.
Qualifications:
- Previous vinyl graphics application experience required (minimum 2 years)
- Avery or 3M certification is preferred, though uncertified installers with 3 or more years of experience will be considered.
- Reliable (arrive to work on time and be ready to work every day)
- Clean, presentable appearance
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence with clean driver's abstract
- Cell phone
- Comfortable with heights and be able to work on a ladder or bucket lift if required (up to date lift and fall protection certification would be considered an asset.)
- Competent in the use of hand and portable power tools
- Physically fit and able to lift loads up to 50lbs
$28 - $33/hour depending on experience. Benefit package available after probationary period.
