Security Guard - Assistant Site Supervisor Campus
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Assistant Site Supervisor, position is an integral part of having a successful business continuity plan. This position is responsible for the continuous flow of management for any emergency and non-emergent incidents.

Ensure all site security staff are trained to carry out operational requirements.

Review on a daily basis all incident reports generated at all campuses.

Follow up with security staff to ensure performance and reporting aligns with expectations.

Oversee required monthly audits of all site reports, equipment and security software.

Maintain Paladin OH&S program for the campus and ensures all near miss and workplace injuries are properly reported to the manager.

Fill in for the Site Supervisor during extended periods of absence; this includes working hours, meeting commitments, and all operational and administrative requirements.

Carrie out all operational duties and responsibilities as required of a Shift Supervisor.

Remain on-call as an after-hours resource for emergent operational issues and is available to attend site as required.

Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to staff according to the company policies.

Maintain a strong working relationship with site management team and keep them up to date with the events on site.

Perform other duties as requested to assist with Paladin and client needs.

Legally Authorized to work in Canada

Experience with CCTV and Access Control Systems is an asset.

Provide exceptional customer service and have strong communication skills.

Are comfortable standing, walking, climbing or being outdoors for long periods of time.

Have 1 year of Supervisor experience (preferred).

Have a valid security license and 2 years of security experience (preferred).

Have a Class 5 driver's license and a clean abstract.

Hold a valid First Aid certification or are willing to obtain one.
