Rexel Canada Atlantic, a division of Rexel Canada Electrical Inc., is a leading-edge electrical wholesale distributor with 18 branches across the Maritimes and Newfoundland & Labrador.
We are currently looking for a self-motivated individual to become an integral part of our team in the Sydney location as an Account Manager. Our ideal candidate will be someone who drives for results, has a history of uncovering new business opportunities, but also provides outstanding customer service. This person will have a passion for providing solution-based selling and creating a value-added relationship with their customers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular contact with touch customers via email and telephone.
- Visit with key customers as required.
- Maintain customer contracts.
- Achieve and exceed sales goals with your assigned accounts.
- Responsible for generating demand for Rexel products and identifying business opportunities with your customer base.
- Work closely with other members of the team to ensure you are engaged in the entire sales process.
- Support the Projects and Quotation teams as needed.
- Share and leverage talents and provide information to improve sales strategies and execution.
- Strive to achieve long-term relationships with customers by ‘value-add’ selling techniques.
- Provide accurate technical data and advice to customers.
Qualifications:
- College diploma (or equivalent.)
- Proven client service and preferably 4 – 5 years of commercial and industrial sales experience.
- You have a proven ability to communicate effectively and build/maintain effective relationships.
- A track record of achieving sales targets.
- Computer literate in a Windows environment.
