Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met during all stages of meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve customers efficiently at the counter or during dine-in service, providing friendly and professional service
- Assist by stocking ingredients and notifying management of supply needs
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are upheld
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Strong understanding of serving, meal preparation, and food handling best practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
- Pizza industry experience is mandatory
