Nectar Beauty is seeking a talented and personable Aesthetician to join our beauty team.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for skincare, beauty treatments, and exceptional client service. This role offers an opportunity to provide clients with personalized aesthetic services in a welcoming and professional environment. The Aesthetician will be responsible for delivering a variety of skincare treatments, enhancing client satisfaction, and suggesting retail products to support overall wellness and beauty goals.
Working with Nectar as freelancer allows you to create flexible hours while building rapport with clients, and the opportunity for full-time status would be considered after a probation period.
We are looking for an Aestheticians with any of the following skills and specialties
- Standard Facials & Peels
- Dermaplaning
- Waxing
- Microneedling
- Electrolysis
- Good facial massage technique
Duties & Expectations, depending on hired role
- Perform professional skincare treatments including facials and peels
- Providing skin analysis prior to a facial service to ensure the right procedure and products are recommended
- Assist guests with product demos and recommend suitable skincare or beauty products based on individual needs
- Deliver exceptional guest services by creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all treatment areas in compliance with health regulations
- Speak knowledgeably about offered retail products to enhance client experience
- Partake in front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling inquiries
- Educate clients on skincare routines and aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results
- Stay current with industry trends, new treatments, and product knowledge to provide expert advice
Qualifications
- Valid training or certification for services offered
- Proven experience in providing skincare treatments
- Thorough knowledge of skin health and skin conditions
- Thorough knowledge of medical skincare ingredients, what they treat, and when they should be avoided
- Strong client service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a spa or salon environment
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Experience handling client inquiries is preferred
- Passion for the beauty industry with a focus on excellent results and client satisfaction
