Position Overview

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, skills & abilities:
- In depth knowledge of Private Training techniques from assessment to program design.
- Knowledge of company policies, practices and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to generate, maintain and demonstrate a friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Possess a strong customer service focus. Responds professionally to requests and inquiries from guests, members and staff.
- Understands and follow oral and written instructions.
- Communicates clearly and concisely.
- Possesses strong organizational skills. Understands basic record keeping practices and procedures. Demonstrates the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience operating office equipment such as computers, calculators, printers
- Must be computer proficient with basic skills in Word and Excel and Google Suite
- Usage of CRM (Spark, MindBody, ZenPlanner)
- Ability to work, setup, plan and execute special events
- Extroverted/High Energy/Self motivator/Customer service minded
Experience
BJJ Purple Belt level and higher preferred, but will consider Blue Belt Level
Required with minimum 3 years teaching experience
BJJ Tournament Record Preferred
CPR & Standard First Aid Certification is an asset
Must be open to working with children
Instructor Obligations and Responsibilities
-Maintain a stimulating, exciting and welcoming environment at the school
-Present a positive public image as a professional Instructor
-Promoting the school wherever and whenever possible
-Ensure that Affinity Academy Curriculum and Guidelines are being followed
-Ensure the safety of the classes and all participants
-Be fully prepared to teach the curriculum each day
-Be present 30 min prior to class is scheduled to start
-Use the Affinity Academy attendance tracking and promoting system for all students

Salary: $1700-$3500/month
