Join Newmont’s Brucejack Mine Winter Snow Removal Team and help keep surface operations safe, accessible, and efficient throughout the winter season. As a Surface Labourer, you’ll perform snow removal, site clean-up, material handling, and general labour duties in a remote camp environment while maintaining Newmont’s high safety standards.

Assist with snow stacking, shoveling duties and winter site maintenance activities

Perform general housekeeping, site clean-up, and material handling

Support construction projects and tradespeople with labour tasks

Use hand tools and equipment to move materials and level ground

Follow all safety procedures, policies, and training requirements

Work safely in challenging weather conditions and outdoor environments

High school diploma or GED
-
Physically fit and able to lift and move up to 50 lbs

Experience in mining, industrial, construction, or labour roles is an asset

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License preferred

WHMIS and TDG certifications are considered assets

Strong communication skills and commitment to workplace safety

Ability to work 12-hour shifts in remote winter conditions

Must successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
