Trans Canada Safety is looking for a full time Service Technician for our Thunder Bay Branch.
We provide services for fire protection equipment which include installation and inspection of fire extinguishers, kitchen suppression systems, off-road suppression systems, etc.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
Customer service and engagement
Service and maintenance of portable fire protection and fire suppression systems and equipment
Inspecting, analyzing and troubleshooting fire suppression systems and equipment
Writing detailed service reports
General mechanical and physical work including lifting, bending, twisting and climbing
Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
While we are willing to train and mentor, applicants with prior knowledge of applicable Provincial and National Fire Codes, experience of Fire Suppression and Fire Extinguisher installation and inspection, and/or general mechanical skills will be considered an asset.
Job requires some travel and a flexible work schedule.
