A very successful automotive repair and maintenance facility is now interviewing for the position of service advisor. We are looking for a quality individual to join our successful team. This sales position requires someone who is a self starter, a strong leader, someone that understands the importance of strong relationships with their customers, as well as co-workers. Job Requirements
- Listens to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; checking vehicle maintenance records; Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.
- Prepares repair orders; obtaining approval signatures.
- Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation.
- Maintains automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
