A custom furniture manufacturer/wholesaler/retailer in Railtown Vancouver is looking to hire a full-time accounting assistant. This position is suitable for an individual with solid accounts payable/accounts receivable experience with exposure to both a manufacturing and importing/ exporting environment. Must be interested in working in a dynamic and complex workplace. We are looking for an individual who can multitask capably.
Accounts Receivable - invoicing and collecting, Accounts Payable - posting and paying, standard month end procedures, and general office duties
Requirements:
- Team player, high level of attention to detail, able to converse comfortably on the phone with customers and suppliers, strong knowledge of Sage 50 ( Simply Accounting), good to average skills with Microsoft Excel and Word, solid experience in Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable and month end procedures, excellent command of the English language ( spoken & written) is essential for this role, and typing skills
Pay: $49,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
