Role Specific Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Operate and drive automobiles, vans and G license trucks to pick up and deliver various products.
· Operate and drive straight trucks and light trucks to pick up and deliver various product including ice cream.
· Responsible for loading, unloading and picking product manually in -20 Celsius temperatures.
· Rotating and merchandising products as per planograms within various size freezers while maintaining a sense of urgency to ensure product standard.
· Responsible for unloading returned product and loading into walk-in-freezer with standard labelling.
· Deliver products over established routes.
· Deliver products into customers’ locations as required (may include delivering up/down stairwells at some locations).
· Ensure correct loading of vehicle and maintaining vehicle condition as per standard.
· Inspect the order at time of delivery to ensure all products invoiced are present.
· Pick up returns, empty crates and pallets to be returned to the warehouse.
· Operate vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all rules of the road.
· Complete drivers end of day check-in with the warehouse coordinator to ensure all invoices are signed, all returns are processed by a receiver and all collected at the customers are accounted for.
· Communicate with central dispatch, order desk and other departments as needed.
· Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
- Educational /Technical Experience:
· High school diploma or GED.
· Valid G License and Clean abstract and CVOR
· MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE an Automatic TRUCK.
MUST have 2 years of G light trucks driving experience
· Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
· Must be flexible to work various shifts including days, afternoons, weekends and holidays as required.
· Must be able to operate a walkie, handjack and dollies.
· Excellent organization, communication and customer service skills.
· Good command of the English language, written & verbal.
· Must be able to perform simple math and operate computerized device.
Skill and Knowledge Requirements:
· Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
· Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
· Attention to detail in all areas of work.
· Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
· Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
· Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. will be required

Pay: $22.00 per hour
