Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Glass Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing automotive glass with precision and care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems, experience working with hand and power tools, and the physical ability to handle heavy lifting. Responsibilities
- Remove damaged or broken auto glass safely and efficiently
- Install new windshields and auto glass using specialized tools and techniques
- Ensure proper sealing and fitment of glass components for optimal safety and appearance
- Perform repairs on minor chips or cracks in windshields when applicable
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete installations accurately
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with vehicle inspections related to glass integrity and overall condition
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment after each job
Experience
- Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems is advantageous
- Familiarity with hand tools such as pry bars, scrapers, and sealant applicators
- Experience with power tools used in auto glass installation or repair
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, often handling large or cumbersome glass panels
- Mechanic experience is a plus, demonstrating a solid understanding of vehicle components and repair procedures

Pay: $26.00-$34.00 per hour
