The Position: Senior Industrial Seamer and Production Specialist

We are seeking a talented Senior Industrial Seamer and Production Specialist to join our team!
Position Summary
In this role, you will operate industrial sewing equipment to produce precision filter bags that meet our strict quality standards. The ideal candidate will be proficient with industrial sewing machine operation and techniques, and have high attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and with a team of sewers. You will also coordinate filter assembly, packaging, and other steps in the filter production process as required.
What You’ll Do
- Tube industrial filter bags using a variety of industrial seaming machines
- Prepare and measure materials according to production specifications
- Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality
- Perform basic machine maintenance and adjustments
- Lay out and measure fabric for the filter bag manufacturing process
- Grommet installation
- Quality control inspection
- Final product packaging
- Work closely with production leads to meet daily output goals, and cover production coordination during periods of vacation
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace
- Stand for extended periods of time
What You Bring
- Over 8 years of experience with industrial seaming and sewing machines (walking foot, overlock, chain stitch, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude that fits well in a team environment
- Ability to work with heavy fabrics and technical materials (lift up to 50 lbs)
- Good English-communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Well organized, ability to multi-task, and willingness to contribute beyond the job description
- Supervision and production coordination experience is considered an asset
