Product & Customer Operations Specialist
JobForge / CabForge Systems Inc.Full-Time
About the Role
Cabinetmaking experience preferred
Mozaik software experience an asset
Fusion 360 experience an asset
JobForge is software built specifically for cabinet shops to help manage their day-to-day business and production.
We’re looking for a Product & Customer Operations Specialist who will work directly with our customers, our software, and our growing collection of AI-powered tools.
This is an unusual role—and intentionally so.
You won’t spend all day doing one repetitive task. One hour you might be helping a cabinet shop remotely, the next you’re demonstrating JobForge to a potential customer, testing a new feature, reviewing an AI-generated video, or documenting something in the software that could be improved.
We’re looking for someone who becomes extremely familiar with JobForge and acts as a bridge between our customers and the people building the product.
What You’ll Do
Customer Support & Onboarding
- Answer incoming JobForge phone calls and customer questions.
- Provide friendly, practical product support.
- Use remote-support tools when necessary to help customers.
- Help new customers get started with JobForge.
- Follow up with customers who need additional help.
- Identify recurring questions or problems and document them.
Product Demos
- Demonstrate JobForge to cabinet shops interested in the software.
- Learn the product well enough to confidently explain its features and workflows.
- Answer prospective customers’ questions.
- Follow up after demonstrations when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, realistic JobForge demonstration environment.
Product Testing & Feedback
- Use JobForge regularly as if you were a customer.
- Look for bugs, confusing workflows, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Reproduce reported problems before sending them to development.
- Submit clear bug reports with screenshots, videos, and reproduction steps.
- Submit thoughtful product-improvement suggestions.
- Help test new features and updates before and after release.
- Organize customer feature requests and identify recurring requests.
AI Content Review
- Review AI-generated videos and other content.
- Watch carefully for visual anomalies, incorrect information, strange AI behaviour, or poor-quality results.
- Approve good content and reject unsuitable content.
- Clearly document why rejected content failed so the system and process can improve.
Social Media & Education
- Publish approved JobForge videos and content to social media.
- Create simple product walkthroughs and short tutorials.
- Help turn frequently asked customer questions into useful videos or help articles.
- Assist with “What’s New in JobForge” content when features are released.
- Identify good customer stories, testimonials, and potential case studies.
Customer Success
- Check in with newer customers to see how they’re doing.
- Identify customers who may be struggling to adopt the software and offer assistance.
- Gather feedback about what customers like, dislike, or find confusing.
- Help us understand how cabinet shops actually use JobForge in the real world.
Who We’re Looking For
You do not need to be a programmer.
We’re much more interested in finding someone who:
- Is naturally good with computers and learning new software.
- Is comfortable talking with customers on the phone and video calls.
- Can confidently demonstrate software after learning it.
- Pays attention to small details and notices when something doesn’t look right.
- Is curious and isn’t afraid to explore software and try unusual things.
- Can clearly explain a problem instead of simply saying “it doesn’t work.”
- Communicates clearly and professionally.
- Can work independently without needing a task assigned every few minutes.
- Is comfortable switching between different types of work throughout the day.
- Enjoys finding better ways of doing things.
Experience with cabinetmaking, woodworking, manufacturing, CAD/CAM, CNC equipment, or cabinet-design software would be a major asset.
Experience with customer support, SaaS/software, social media, or technical troubleshooting is also valuable.
What We Don’t Care About
We’re not particularly interested in collecting credentials.
You don’t need:
- A computer science degree.
- A marketing degree.
- Years of SaaS experience.
- A perfectly polished corporate résumé.
- To already know every piece of software we use.
We’d rather hire someone who is curious, dependable, comfortable with technology, good with people, and genuinely likes figuring things out.
If you’re the person friends or coworkers come to when they can’t figure out a piece of software, that’s interesting to us.
If you see something confusing and immediately think, “There has to be a better way to do this,” that’s even better.
We can teach you JobForge. What is much harder to teach is curiosity, good judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with people.
What Success Looks Like
Over time, you’ll become one of the people who knows JobForge best.
Customers will know they can contact you when they need help.
You’ll recognize common problems before they reach development.
You’ll notice things in the software that could be better.
You’ll help new customers understand the product.
And you’ll help ensure that the content and features we release represent JobForge well.
Most importantly, you’ll help create a direct feedback loop between:
Customers → Support → Product → Development → Customers
If you’re the kind of person who enjoys technology, solving problems, talking to people, and constantly figuring out how things could work better, we’d like to hear from you.
