Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef/Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Serve dishes efficiently and courteously to guests or service staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service in a timely manner
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients or supplies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred, especially in cooking or kitchen roles
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, meal assembly, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Basic knowledge of the food industry standards and kitchen operations
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering quality dishes
