We are currently hiring for vacancies in Fort McMurray. We are searching for experienced support workers who are looking for engaging and dynamic opportunities. Our organization provides services and supports to families with adult dependents. We offer a range of opportunities and provide you with necessary resources and additional training to help you support the individuals. You will participate in the planning, structuring and implementation of activities as well as providing direct support to the individual in-home and community.
Successful candidates will:
- possess a current drivers license
- have a reliable vehicle
- have $2, 000, 000.00 liability insurance
- have excellent communication skills
- be willing to work with a team, and independently
- be ready and able to deal with unpredictable situations
- have an understanding of the complexities and nuances of working within another families household
- be able to follow communication channels effectively
- have a reasonable understanding of inclusion and community
- maintain existing supports
- have experience working with challenging behaviors
- overnight and sleep shifts are available
