The Role
We're hiring an electrician at the 3rd year apprentice to certified journeyman level who shares our passion for the future of energy. This role sits at the intersection of solar energy and EV infrastructure. You'll work on high-end installations, including rooftop solar PV systems, EV chargers, EV energy management systems and electrical service upgrades.

Key Responsibilities
- Renewable Energy Integration: Install and commission residential solar PV systems.
- EV Charging and EVEMS Installations: Perform professional-grade installations of EV chargers and energy management systems, meeting City of Calgary inspection requirements and manufacturer certified-installer standards.
- Code Compliance: Perform accurate service load calculations to determine whether a service upgrade or EVEMS solution is required. Ensure every circuit installed and every system commissioned complies with the Canadian Electrical Code and City of Calgary permitting requirements.
- Client Education: Act as a subject-matter expert, helping clients understand and manage their new energy-efficient systems.
Qualifications
Required
- Registered 3rd year apprentice through to certified Journeyperson Electrician in Alberta
- Valid Alberta driver's licence with a clean abstract
- A clean, organized approach to conduit and wiring, with an eye for detail
- Ability to represent Zeus Electrical Services professionally on every job site
Assets
- EV Charging Experience: Documented manufacturer training in EV charger, EVEMS, or battery storage installation
- Solar PV Experience: Hands-on experience with rooftop or ground-mount solar — racking, module layout, and inverter commissioning
- Commitment to Excellence: A clean, organized approach to conduit and wiring work with an eye for detail.
- Professionalism: A clean driving record and the ability to represent Zeus Electrical Services with integrity at every job site.
