Assistant Restoration Technician – Full Time

DKI Calgary is seeking a motivated and reliable Assistant Restoration Technician to join our well-established and growing team. What You’ll Do
As an Assistant Restoration Technician, you will play a key role in supporting emergency response and restoration projects, ensuring the needs of our clients are met with professionalism and care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with emergency response and restoration activities to support project timelines and client expectations
- Support Water Damage Technicians and team members in progressing projects efficiently
- Use hand and power tools, as well as digital tools (iPads, iPhones) for communication and documentation
- Perform site preparation and cleanup, including debris removal and setting up site protection
- Assist with environmental work, including the safe handling and removal of materials such as mould, asbestos, and lead (training provided)
- Help lead and support on-site teams during mitigation and restoration work
- Calculate and set up appropriate equipment required for each job
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while minimizing cross-contamination risks
- Accurately document site activities for yourself and your team
- Support coworkers as needed to ensure project success
- Perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A customer-service mindset with a professional attitude and appearance
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a team environment
- Ability to work scheduled on-call and after-hours shifts (rotation required)
- Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions
