Overview
We are seeking an experienced Hardscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paver patios, retaining walls, and various construction techniques, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape structures, utilizing a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Candidates should possess excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. A clean 3 years drivers abstract is a must.
Responsibilities
- Assist in various construction and maintenance projects as directed by supervisors.
- Perform general labor tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on schedule.
- Lifting and running equipment
Qualifications
- Experience in hardscaping
- Familiarity with operating machinery (skid steer, excavator, etc..)
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors.
- Driving truck and trailer
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to labor tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 44.0 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Calgary, AB T2C 1Y3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
