Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Millwork Manager to lead our millwork operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the production of custom millwork products, ensuring quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all processes. This leadership role requires a strong background in manufacturing, supply chain management, and process optimization, with proficiency in ERP systems such and Microsoft office. The Millwork Manager will play a key role in driving lean manufacturing initiatives and maintaining high standards of quality control.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the millwork production facility, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency using lean manufacturing principles
- Oversee supply chain activities, including inventory management and procurement, utilizing ERP systems.
- Coordinate with design and assembly teams to ensure seamless production flow from raw materials to finished products
- Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and product consistency
- Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production schedules that meet customer deadlines while minimizing costs
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and oversee maintenance planning
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing management, preferably within the millwork or woodworking industry
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery and oversee maintenance activities
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
- Familiarity with quality control standards and assembly processes in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive operational excellence
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and with external partners

Pay: $36.00-$38.05 per hour
