Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide mental health support and therapy to diverse patient populations, including children and adolescents. This role involves collaborating with medical professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care, utilizing research-based practices, and contributing to case management and data collection efforts. A background in hospital settings, pediatrics, or special education is highly desirable. The Psychotherapist will play a vital role in promoting mental well-being and supporting patients through personalized treatment plans.
Duties
- Conduct individual, group, or family therapy sessions tailored to patient needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment strategies
- Work with children and adolescents, addressing developmental and emotional challenges
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
- Collect and analyze data related to patient outcomes for continuous improvement
- Participate in case management activities, including coordinating care with other healthcare providers
- Stay informed on current research and best practices in psychotherapy and mental health care
- Assist in the development of specialized programs for pediatric or special education populations
- Provide patient education on mental health issues, coping strategies, and available resources
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Valid licensure or certification as a Psychotherapist or Mental Health Counselor
- Experience working with children, pediatrics, or hospital environments preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols
- Experience with case management, data collection, and research methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Background in special education or experience working with patients requiring tailored therapeutic approaches is a plus
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $63.09-$132.13 per hour
