Critical Trauma Therapy has an exciting opportunity for a clinician to join our team at our St Catharines site.
Who We Are:
Critical Trauma Therapy is a growing private practice providing client-centered Social Work & Counselling services as well as Naturopathy, Psychiatry, Psychological Services, Restorative Yoga, and Dietetics. We're a team of over 50 clinicians and growing!
We work with various population groups and funding sources including WSIB, EAP, and private pay.
Position Requirements:
- Interest in working with clients who have sustained traumatic injuries
- Opportunities for working with adult and/or pediatric populations
- Experience with using a variety of evidence-based therapy modalities – EMDR is an asset
- Assess and treat clients virtually and in the community
- Strong aptitude for report writing and attention to detail is a must
- Develop and implement group programs and webinars
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time-management, and organizational skills
Duties:
- Conduct assessments and interviews with clients to gather relevant information and data
- Collect and analyze data related to clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings
- Provide counseling and support services to clients and their families
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and community organizations, to coordinate services for clients
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Professional liability insurance
