Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role requires excellent communication skills, classroom management, and a passion for early childhood education. Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly desirable to support diverse student needs. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues, engage with families, and implement age-appropriate curricula aligned with educational standards.
Duties
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
- Monitor and assess individual student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Incorporate special education strategies when working with children with disabilities or additional needs.
- Foster positive behavior management techniques and encourage social interactions among students.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and other administrative documentation using computer skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators regarding student development and classroom activities.
- Utilize classroom technology and computer operation tools to enhance instructional delivery.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education best practices.
- Support the integration of bilingual instruction in English and French as needed.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or related fields is preferred.
- Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities or special needs, is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using strong writing and organizational skills.
- Proven leadership qualities with the ability to manage classroom activities efficiently.
- Familiarity with early childhood curriculum standards, teaching methodologies, and child development principles.

Pay: $29.00-$30.00 per hour
