We
invite passionate and dedicated educators to join the Al Amal Academy team as a
full-time Junior High Teacher, supporting our vibrant and welcoming faith-based
school community in Northwest Calgary. This role offers a meaningful
opportunity to work with students in Grades 7–9 during a pivotal stage of their
academic and personal development.
Junior
high learners bring curiosity, growing independence, and a readiness to engage
more deeply with ideas and the world around them. Educators in this setting have
a unique opportunity to foster critical thinking, guide identity development,
and build strong, respectful relationships that support both academic
achievement and personal growth. This is an ideal role for a teacher who is
energized by working with adolescents and is committed to creating an
inclusive, supportive classroom environment where every student feels seen,

In
this position, you will design and deliver engaging, developmentally
appropriate learning experiences aligned with the Alberta Education curriculum.
You will support students as they build essential skills in literacy, numeracy,
and inquiry, while also nurturing their confidence, collaboration, and
social-emotional well-being. Strong communication and collaboration with
colleagues and families are key components of this role, as is a commitment to
contributing positively to a faith-centered learning environment grounded in
respect, curiosity, and shared values.
This
full-time (1.0 FTE) temporary contract position will commence the first day of
the 2026-2027 school year.
