Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Store Clerk to join our team. This role involves managing inventory, assisting customers, and maintaining an organized store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience with databases and metadata management. Duties
- Manage and update store databases to ensure accurate inventory records
- Organize and categorize products using metadata for efficient retrieval and stock management
- Assist customers with inquiries, purchases, and product locations, providing exceptional customer service
- Maintain organized shelving, displays, and storage areas to ensure a clean shopping environment
- Support project management tasks related to store layout improvements or inventory audits
- Conduct research on new products or industry trends to inform stocking decisions
- Write clear documentation and reports related to inventory levels, sales data, or process improvements
- Provide training or guidance to new team members on store procedures and database systems when needed
Requirements
- Experience working with databases and metadata management systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to assist in training team members
- Good research skills for staying informed about industry trends and product information

Pay: $18.00 per hour
