We are looking for an experienced Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in the installation and maintenance of underground civil infastructure, as well as experience in grading for footings, operating packers and compact equipment ( skid steer, mini excavator, etc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of installation of new water / sewer SDR materials , excavating trenches, and installing pipes according to local regulations. We are looking for a hardworking and reliable individual who is committed to safety and quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Use tools such as measuring tapes, shovels, packers, and gas saws.
- Inspect pipes for defects and repair them as needed.
- Connect new sewer / storm / and water lines to existing infrastructure.
- Installation and maintenance of drainage systems.
- Familiar with invert elevations, and setting up lazer levels.
- Greasing, and maintaining field equipment on site.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.90-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
