We are seeking a dedicated, mature, and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist to join our up and coming clinic in North York. This role offers an unique and exciting opportunity to provide exceptional patient care across diverse settings, including hospital environments, acute care, pediatrics, and outpatient services. But more importantly, being able to do so with full autonomy and minimal oversight. Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, recovery processes, and home exercise programs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress notes, and patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Provide occasional admin support, assisting with billing and admin duties
Skills
- In good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO)
- Proven experience working in various settings, including hospital, clinics, and acute care centres
- A background in Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) acupuncture, medical/electro-acupuncture, and/or pelvic physiotherapy is a strong asset
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to supporting recovery and well-being
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong communication skills to educate patients and coordinate with other healthcare professional
