STL Engineering is a mechanical, hardware engineering and design firm located in Ottawa, ON. We specialize in fluid flow, thermal and structural analysis and development of rugged electronics and systems. Our team works together to provide quality services in our field to clients across various industries.
We are seeking a full-time Bookkeeper & Office Coordinator to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for the business, processing invoices and payments, and managing payroll. Additionally, you will manage general office duties such as answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and handling various administrative tasks. Opportunities to support Marketing effort is also expected. Flexibility for hybrid remote work is available.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting, commerce, or a related field,
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience,
- Experience with accounting software (specifically QuickBooks Online),
- Understanding of Canadian tax laws and regulations,
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail,
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite,
- Experience working in an office environment,
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently,
- Experience with Human Resources and Marketing is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
