We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Deckhands to join our team in both log and barge towing capacities. As a Deckhand, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vessel. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for maritime activities.
In the event applicant has no experience, but shows potential, the company offers a training program that pays $25/hr for 30-34 shifts, or until signed off by 2 senior captains. Please research the position prior to applying.
Duties
- Deckhand duties for towing logs and barges alike.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on deck and equipment to ensure everything is in good working order.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure environment for crew.
- Collaborate with other crew members to ensure safe, efficient operations and communication on board the vessel.
Skills
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Be physically capable of repetitively lifting and carrying in excess of 50lbs.
- Good communication skills to work well within a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Enroll in Marine Emergency Duties course within 3 months of hire.

Pay: $45.33-$48.66 per hour
