Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of windows and doors in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Install windows and doors according to specifications and building codes.
- Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements.
- Perform necessary repairs or restoration work on existing windows and doors.
- Ensure all installations are sealed properly to prevent air and water leaks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process.
- Adhere to safety protocols while using tools and equipment.
Experience
- Proven 5 years or more experience in window and door installation
- Brick to Brick or Retro fit windows installation experience
- Must experience of metal bending break for flashing or caping on windows and doors
- Nice and clean finishing of caulking on bricks
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics are essential.
- Previous experience as a carpenter or in a similar trade will be beneficial for this role.
- Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
