This is a permanent part-time position consisting of 15 hours per week. The role includes a set schedule of working Tuesdays (7.5 hours), with the remaining 7.5 hours scheduled flexibly to accommodate store needs. Additional casual hours may be available throughout the year to cover staff vacations and during peak periods, including the summer and December seasons. The successful applicant will support daily operations, including sales, customer service, store maintenance, and receiving and processing inventory.
Training will begin the week of June 21, with the first regular Tuesday shift scheduled to start on July 7.
Responsibilities and Roles of the position include:
· Delivering exceptional customer service
· Knowledge and comfort in communicating product information
· Store opening and closing procedures
· Operating a Point of Sale (POS) system and visa/debit terminal
· Reconciling daily sales
· General cleaning, dusting and maintenance of the store
· Receiving and processing store inventory and entering into POS system.
Previous experience working in a retail environment and/or customer service position is an asset.
Previous experience using Lightspeed is an asset.
