The Lethbridge Community Out-of-School Association (L.C.O.S.A) It's A Blast Program has been a staple out-of-school care organization in our city for over 35 Years. If you are looking for a flexible employment opportunity where you can promote play and developmental learning for children ages 5-12, then look no further!
We are currently recruiting casual Early Childhood Educators to support our programs. Program Leaders at It’s a BLAST are responsible for providing daily programming for all children registered in the program. It is the responsibility of Program leaders to deliver quality care at our programs when our permanent staff is sick or on vacation.

What we need from you:
- Positive, can-do attitude towards work
- Reliable and flexible availability
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and engage in active problem-solving
- Willingness to learn and complete new tasks
- Ability to develop positive and respectful interactions with children, parents, and other staff
- First Aid (CPR-C) certification within the first 8 weeks of employment
- Clean Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Query withing the first 8 weeks of employment
- Clean Intervention Record Check from Alberta Child and Family Services within the first 8 weeks of employment
- Current ECE Certificate Level 1, 2, or 3
