Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Gardener to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes to ensure they are healthy, attractive, and sustainable. Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting
- Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes for routine gardening activities
- Operate power tools like lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and blowers safely and efficiently
- Maintain garden beds by weeding, mulching, fertilizing, and pest control
- Assist with landscape design projects and plant new greenery as needed
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and well-organized
- Monitor plant health and report any issues related to pests or diseases
Experience
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques is advantageous
- Ability to operate both hand tools and power tools safely
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is beneficial
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods
