Rosenau Transport Ltd is currently seeking a Full time Dock Foreman/Woman in Calgary, AB.
This position will require 2 years experience as Dock Foreman with employee supervision.

Monday-Friday (Day)
Shift Start: 7AM
General Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train Dock Workers to ensure a safe and efficient dock.
- Coordinate and prioritize all terminal warehouse/loading dock activities during the shift, including man hour scheduling, and outbound loading to destination, to take the best advantage of equipment and man power.
- Coordinate dock operations with city and highway dispatcher, Shunt trailers as required.
- Resolve work related problems and make suggestions on how to improve productivity.
- Monitor quality control, security and OS & D.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Lead the day shift on day to day operations.
- Load out trailers and make sure all inbound loads are stripped out in a timely manner.
- Arrange training or train new staff in job duties, company policies and safety procedures.
- Inspect shipments for proper quantity and damaged products.
- Prepare production and other reports.
- Requisition materials and supplies.
- Liaise with management and stakeholders.
- Ensure dock/warehouse surroundings areas are kept clean.
- Supervise dock workers and assist with unload and reload trailers for delivery.
- Sort bills for efficient delivery and use of resources/equipment.
- Monitor employee hours of work and overtime.
- Supervise safe handling of customers’ goods through the facility.
- Manage equipment and facility itself.
- Observe all company rules, policies and procedures with regards to quality control, Occupational Health and Safety, First Aid etc.
- Perform sundry duties as assigned by Dock Supervisor/Terminal Manager.*Please Note:
