CYS Team Lead: This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader with experience in preschool, childcare and/or summer camp environments to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the Children and Youth Program Coordinator with the delivery of Child Minding and Children and Youth programs and services. The CYS Team Lead will support staff with complex problem-solving, ensure program requirements are met, and maintain a safe, caring and stimulating environment that provides quality experiences for TLC customers. The role also includes promoting the TLC through friendly, professional service and offering value-added solutions to meet customer needs. Occasional work outside regular departmental hours may be required. This permanent part-time role is 40 hours biweekly.
Wage Range: $22.88 to $27.24/hour
Requirements: Post-secondary education in Early Learning, Childcare or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of three years’ related experience. ECE certification, HIGH FIVE and Principles of Healthy Child Development, Sport or other relevant training are assets. AFLCA Ever Active Kids, NCCP Fundamental Movement Skills, physical literacy training and IntelliLeisure experience are also considered assets.
The successful candidate must provide current Intermediate First Aid certification (obtained within the past two years) and a clear criminal record/vulnerable sector check prior to employment.
