No Limits Underground Ltd. is growing and we're looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team.
We specialize in underground construction throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan, including water and sewer, telecommunications, directional drilling support, utility installations, and civil infrastructure.
This position requires working out of town on a regular basis. Applicants must be willing to travel and work on rotation as project schedules require. Company-paid accommodations and travel are provided when working away from home.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently in a variety of underground utility applications.
- Excavate around existing underground utilities using safe digging practices.
- Perform trenching, backfilling, grading, and final cleanup.
- Read utility locates, grade stakes, and construction drawings.
- Work closely with foremen, labourers, pipe layers, drill crews, and project managers.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following company safety procedures.
- Assist with general labour duties when equipment is not operating.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of excavator operating experience.
- Experience working around underground utilities is considered a strong asset.
- Experience in water & sewer, telecommunications, or civil construction preferred.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence (Class 3A is an asset).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Must be willing and able to work out of town for extended periods.
