We are seeking a skilled and safety-minded Journeyman Industrial Electrician to join a dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be the go-to technical expert responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing advanced facility electrical and automated systems to ensure peak production efficiency.

This position reports directly to the Facilities Manager and offers a fast-paced, highly engaging work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot, install, and repair low and high-voltage (single and three-phase) industrial electro-mechanical machinery, control systems, and automation equipment.
- Automation & PLCs: Handle PLC and HMI programming adjustments, calibrations, and system modifications; perform precise electrical wiring and testing on automated setups.
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled PMs on heavy production machinery (including metal forming equipment) to maximize safety, uptime, and operational reliability.
- Technical Blueprint Navigation: Read, interpret, and update electrical schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, and parts lists to resolve complex system faults.
- Continuous Improvement: Partner on facility upgrade projects, document all new or existing power installations, and ensure full compliance with legal and corporate standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Journeyman Electrician License / Ticket is strictly required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of dedicated electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial processing environment.
- Technical Independence: Strong standalone problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex machine malfunctions under minimal supervision.
- Teamwork & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional production teams.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Environment: Active, fast-paced industrial manufacturing plant floor with exposure to standard operational noise, moving machinery, and temperature variations.
- Physical Effort: Ability to stand/walk on concrete floors for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and comfortably lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Good manual dexterity for intricate wiring work is essential.
- Safety First: Strict adherence to all company and legislated HSE guidelines, including the consistent use of required PPE (safety glasses, steel-toes, hearing protection, etc.).
- Schedule: Flexibility to work varied shifts (including days, nights, weekends, or rotating schedules) based on production demands. Overtime opportunities are available during peak cycles.
Pay: $42.44-$45.74 per hour
