We are looking for an experienced and reliable Commercial Semi-Truck Mechanic to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining semi-trucks, trailers, and heavy-duty commercial vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical knowledge, experience with diesel engines, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on semi-trucks and trailers
- Inspect diesel engines, brakes, suspension, steering, transmission, and electrical systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance services
- Repair or replace defective parts and components
- Perform safety inspections and identify mechanical issues
- Use diagnostic tools and repair software
- Maintain accurate repair records and work orders
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
- Respond to emergency roadside breakdowns when required
- Keep work area clean and organized
Requirements (Skills & Experience)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks or diesel vehicles
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and truck systems
- Experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Ability to use repair tools and computerized diagnostic equipment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Semi- trucks
- Welding experience is an asset
- CDL/AZ license is an asset

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
