Overview
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Lobster Processors to join our team in a fast-paced seafood processing environment. This role involves preparing, processing, and packaging lobster products while following strict food safety and sanitation standards. Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Responsibilities
- Process live or cooked lobsters by removing shells, meat, and other parts as required
- Package lobster products while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Operate food processing and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow sanitation and food safety procedures throughout all stages of processing
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment
- Assist with quality control checks to ensure high product standards
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Experience in seafood processing, packaging, manufacturing, or food production considered an asset
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Mechanical knowledge or equipment experience is an asset
- Training provided for motivated candidates
