Benjamin Bridge is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team on a seasonal basis, with the opportunity for long-term growth.
As one of the most visible representatives of our winery, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional service while ensuring our wines arrive safely to our wholesale, licensee, and direct-to-consumer customers throughout the Annapolis Valley and Halifax Metro.
We're looking for someone based in the Valley who enjoys driving, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable navigating Halifax, Dartmouth, and surrounding communities.
Position Details
- Seasonal position with immediate start
- Minimum 25 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours during peak periods
- Based out of our Berwick warehouse
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver wine orders to wholesale, licensee, and direct-to-consumer customers throughout the Valley and Halifax Metro.
- Safely operate company vehicles while maintaining a clean driving record.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles using a delivery manifest to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Repetitively lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs (22 kg).
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during every delivery, serving as an ambassador for the Benjamin Bridge brand.
- Maintain clear communication with the Direct-to-Consumer team regarding deliveries and customer inquiries.
- Support warehouse operations and order preparation as needed.
- Provide occasional assistance to our production team during busy periods and seasonal projects.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Comfortable driving regularly throughout Halifax, Dartmouth, and the Annapolis Valley.
- Ability to repetitively lift and carry up to 50 lbs (22 kg).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work from delivery manifests.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Reliable, organised, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous delivery, warehouse, or customer service experience is considered an asset.
