Overview
We offer K-G12 Science courses to students, ranging from foundational middle school concepts to advanced secondary sciences. If you are outgoing, approachable, and passionate about scientific inquiry, this is a unique opportunity for you.
Teachers will be responsible for teaching and developing the skills of General Science, Chemistry, and Biology (including AP levels). Key duties include conducting engaging lessons, improving students' comprehension of complex scientific theories, leading safe laboratory demonstrations, and providing a positive, high-achievement learning environment.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or above in Science (Chemistry, Biology, or Physics) or Education.
- Experience: At least 3 years of teaching experience within British Columbia or Canada.
- AP Expertise: Proven experience teaching AP Chemistry or AP Biology and successfully preparing students for AP exams (Required).
- Language: Native or near-native English proficiency is required.
- Certification: BC Teaching Certificate (Preferred).
- Location: Must be able to conduct in-person teaching at our Vancouver center (Required).
