Summary
We are seeking a RIBO Licensed, Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team in Mississauga. In this role, you will be essential in delivering exceptional customer support and ensuring client satisfaction while contributing to our company's growth and reputation.
Responsibilities
- · Respond to client inquiries or questions and provide information as it relates to Personal Lines Insurance Company’s products and services.
- · Maintain client files on a Broker Management System through detailed notes on any client discussions relating to all aspects of their policies including but not limited to billing, endorsements, binders, cancellations.
- · Review policy renewals with clients when requested, reviewing coverage options, alternative market options, and rating criteria.
- · Establish insurance coverage, calculate premiums and method of payment when necessary.
- · Ensure appropriate forms and other policy requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- · Take urgent claims calls from clients, providing advice and guiding the client through the claims process.
- · Follow underwriting and compliance guidelines in accordance with both insurance company policies and internal Insuranceland policies.
- · Communicate effectively with peers, leaders, clients, and insurance companies.
- · Collaborate with other departments including Producers, Portal Processing, Renewal Remarketing, and Admin Departments, and provide information as needed.
- · Identify and solicit potential clientele especially through Insuranceland’s client referral program.
- · Uphold all company health and safety policies, ensuring a safe environment for all.
- · Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and development initiatives to enhance product knowledge, service skills, and regulatory understanding.
Qualifications
- Valid RIBO license in good standing
- Professional, flexible, driven and energetic.
- Ability to provide prompt, accurate and professional customer service.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, to internal and external parties.
- Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and integrity
- Works well within a team and independently in cross-functional teams.
- Interacts with patience, enthusiasm and dedication
- Pays close attention to detail and multitasks with a high level of organization and accuracy
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of customer service experience
- Approaches learning and professional development with enthusiasm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel), Power Broker, Insurance Company Portal’s.
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday
- Excellent communication and phone etiquette skills.
- Ability to multitask with strong analysis and data entry skills.
- Sales-oriented mindset with experience in upselling.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Pay: $43,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
