We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Car Technician to join our automotive service team. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repair tasks effectively
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to ensure accurate assembly and repair procedures
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move parts or equipment safely
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics using advanced diagnostic equipment and software
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with industry regulations
- Support ongoing maintenance tasks to keep the workshop organized and efficient
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in automotive repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive systems and schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Experience with vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various vehicle components
